As part of my website portfolio, I had the opportunity to work with WoodBee, a London-based timber window and doors company.
They reached out to me because they needed a modern, sophisticated website to promote their business, products, and services.
In this blog post, I’ll discuss the website design and SEO improvements made for WoodBee. Additionally, I’ll walk you through a few key pages and sections of the website.
And guess what? At the end of it all, I’ll hook you up with the URL link so you can check the website right in your browser.

Client Request
The client sent me several website URLs as examples of what they liked and wanted something similar. I assured the client that the website I would create would look and feel even better than the examples.
This assurance led the client to trust me with translating their vision into a visually appealing design that effectively drives results.
Website overview
When designing this website, I chose blue and brown with a creamy beige background.
Blue symbolizes trust and loyalty, while brown represents reliability and complements the “wooden windows and doors” theme.
The creamy beige background is inviting and symbolizes comfort.
Websites are a visual medium, so I used high-quality, professional images to enhance the design and content. I ensured all images had appropriate alt tags for better indexing by Google.
The client also opted for on-page SEO services. To outperform competitors, I structured a service page template and ordered 2,500 words for each service, incorporating SEO keywords and phrases researched using SemRush.
Each product page now resembles a wiki page, containing the most searched information according to SemRush.
Given their diverse customer base throughout Greater London and beyond, it was essential to implement a Google Translate feature on the website.
This allows users to translate the content into their preferred language, encouraging more visitors and potentially increasing the conversion rate.
Website Performance
By compressing and resizing all the images and utilizing a plugin called “NitroPack,” I was able to achieve excellent website performance, as confirmed by a Google PageSpeed Insights scan.
